1. About Blake’s Makes

This website is operated by Blake’s Makes, an independent sole-trader business based in Wales, United Kingdom.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Blake’s Makes.

By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before placing an order.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Our Products

Blake’s Makes produces a range of handmade bath, body, skincare and related products.

We take care to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. However, because many of our products are handmade in small batches and use natural ingredients, there may be slight variations in colour, pattern, appearance, size or finish.

These variations are a natural part of handmade products and do not affect the high standard or quality of the product.

Product photographs are for illustration and colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography or the screen being used.

3. Ingredients & Product Information

Ingredient information and relevant directions or warnings are provided on our products, packaging and/or product listings as appropriate.

Customers are responsible for reading the ingredient information and product directions before use, particularly where they have known allergies or sensitivities.

Please discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Products should only be used for their intended purpose and according to the instructions supplied.

Nothing in these Terms limits our responsibility to supply products that meet applicable consumer and product-safety law.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.

Blake’s Makes is not currently VAT registered, therefore VAT is not separately charged on our products.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown before you complete your purchase.

We may change our prices from time to time, but a price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

5. Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products.

Payment must be successfully completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

You will receive confirmation of your order using the contact details supplied during checkout.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, including where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred, payment has not been authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, any amount due back to you will be refunded.

6. Product Availability

Many Blake’s Makes products are handmade in small batches and availability may therefore vary.

We make reasonable efforts to keep stock information accurate. In the unlikely event that an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution, which may include a refund.

We will not substitute a different product without your agreement.

7. Delivery

Available delivery options and charges will be displayed during checkout.

We aim to prepare and dispatch orders within the times stated on our website. Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed dates unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

If there is a significant problem or delay with your order, please contact us.

Your statutory rights relating to delivery are not affected.

8. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Your rights to cancel an eligible online order and our arrangements for returns, exchanges and refunds are explained in our separate Return & Refund Policy.

Certain sealed products may not be suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where the applicable legal exception applies.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

9. Faulty or Incorrect Products

Under UK consumer law, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where applicable.

If you believe you have received a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and put things right.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Personalised & Custom Products

Where we offer personalised or made-to-order products, please check the information you provide carefully before placing your order.

Cancellation rights may differ for products made to a customer’s specification or clearly personalised.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

11. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date.

Occasionally, information may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies relating to product descriptions, availability, pricing or other details.

Where an error is identified, we may correct it. We will not use this provision to unfairly alter an order or contract that has already been agreed with a customer.

Unless otherwise stated, the Blake’s Makes name, branding, original product photographs, written descriptions, graphics and other original content appearing on this website belong to Blake’s Makes or are used with appropriate permission.
